REELFOOT LAKE STATE PARK Reelfoot Lake State Park is once again providing programs in the AIRPARK INN on FRIDAY and SATURDAY NIGHTS at 7:00 PM. This is one of our most popular winter activities, along with the Eagle Tours. On Friday nights, the Reelfoot Naturalist Staff will offer an introductory program dealing with the American Bald Eagles and Reelfoot Lake. Guest speakers are invited to talk about a variety of topics on Saturday nights. These programs are free to all who wish to attend. We have a wide variety of excellent speakers for 2006. Please make plans to join us for these interesting and informative programs about Reelfoot Lake’s natural wonders.
JANUARY 20TH REELFOOT LAKE: PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE: JANUARY 27th BIRDS OF PREY: Jerry Hall, Reelfoot Lake State Park's Interpretive Specialist will introduce you to the injured Raptors that call Reelfoot home. He will shed some light on their importance to the ecology and economy of this area. FEBUARY 3RD RAPTOR REHABILITATION: Join Knox Martin, Coordinator of Raptor Rehab for Memphis Zoo. He will enlighten you on the efforts to rehabilitate and release injured Birds of Prey. You will also get a chance to visit with a variety of non-releasable birds!

Kernahan will give the audience an extraordinary opportunity to
experience birds of prey at close range. Their program will contain a
variety of hawks, owls, eagles and other majestic birds, some of which
will be allowed to free fly. Allowing the audience an unforgettable
